About this product

This Trend jig allows mortice, tenon and dowel joints to be cut using a portable plunge router, suited to cabinet, chair and table making. A single set-up handles both the mortice and tenon, giving matching joints, and the jig is fully adjustable for compound angles up to 45 degrees. Reversible templates produce round or square end tenons and can also be used for dowelling. It cuts mortice and tenon sizes from 1/4in (6.35mm) to 5/8in (15.9mm), with material thickness of 12-47mm and tenon thickness of 4.8-16mm. Tenons are cut with a 5/8in straight cutter, with width adjusted via different guide bushes. Guide bushes, clamps and a set-up bar are included; cutters and a router with 1/4in shank capacity are required, and a Unibase may be needed for some routers.
