About this product
The Makita DBS180Z is a body-only 9mm cordless belt sander powered by an 18V LXT Li-ion battery, not included. It has a brushless motor giving a belt speed of 600–1,700 m/min, suited to heavy-duty sanding in tight areas.
Features include an electric brake, LED job light, variable speed control and a lock-on function to reduce fatigue during extended use. The sanding arm is adjustable, pivoting up to 160° for compact storage, and will not start if folded over 90° for added safety. It can be connected to a dust extractor with the correct attachment.
Supplied with two 9mm x 533mm sanding belts and a grip assembly, but without battery, charger or case. Net weight is around 1.8–2.1kg.
