The DeWalt DCF622 is an 18V XR cordless brushless self-drilling screwdriver aimed at tradespeople fitting metal roofing and other sheet metal work. This is a bare unit, supplied without battery, charger or case, suiting those who already own compatible DeWalt XR batteries.
A high-torque brushless motor gives a no-load speed of 0-2000rpm and drives screws up to 6.15mm diameter, with a 6.35mm hex tool holder and torque rated at 11/34Nm (hard/soft). The Versa-clutch system gives repeatable screw settings with little adjustment needed, and a trigger lock-on allows continuous operation.
Weighing 1.97kg with a length of 255mm and height of 265mm, it is compact and light for extended use. It has a durable, ergonomic design with a rubber grip, plus a repositionable angled belt hook suited to left- or right-handed use.
