About this product
The Makita DFS251 is an 18v LXT cordless brushless TEK screwdriver, supplied as a bare unit without battery, charger or case. It suits tradespeople already on the Makita LXT platform who need a dedicated screwdriver for drywall and TEK screw fixing, handling 5mm drywall screws and 6mm self-drilling screws via a 6.35mm hex driving shank.
It features a brushless motor with push drive technology, so the motor only engages once the fixing contacts the drive unit, helping to extend battery runtime. The aluminium gear housing adds durability, while a lock-on trigger and LED job light with afterglow support repetitive screwdriving work.
The tool has a compact, lightweight design with a soft grip and built-in belt clip, running at 0-2,500rpm. It comes with a magnetic nutsetter and belt hook, but no battery, charger or case.
