ForgeFix Decking Screw Pozi Compatible ST Green Anti-Corrosion 4.5 x 50mm Tub 1000 DS4550T

Forgefix decking screws, size 4.5 x 50mm, supplied in a bulk tub of 1,000, suited to larger decking installations and general exterior timber or fencing work. The 50mm length suits typical decking boards being fixed to joists. Their single-thread design is intended to give higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, while the design helps prevent boards splitting and allows for seasonal expansion and contraction.

The screws have a Pozidriv-compatible head, which has four extra points of contact compared with a Phillips head and is designed to resist cam-out when used with suitable tooling, allowing greater torque to be applied. They are hardened and finished with a 1,000 hour green anti-corrosion treatment, giving good resistance to corrosion when used with ACQ-treated timber commonly used in decking and construction.
