ForgeFix decking screws in 4.5 x 75mm, supplied in a box of 200. Hardened and green treated, they are designed for decking, exterior timber and fencing applications, with the longer length suited to heavy-duty work, thick hardwood boards or multi-layer timber where extra joist penetration is needed.

The single-thread design gives higher pull-out values and quicker insertion, while the shape helps prevent boards splitting and allows for seasonal expansion and contraction. The Pozidriv head has four extra contact points compared with a Phillips head, reducing cam-out and allowing greater torque when used with the correct driver.

The green, 1,000 hour treated finish gives strong corrosion resistance, including against ACQ-treated timber commonly used in decking and construction.
