About this product
ForgeFast wood screws in 4.0 x 50mm size, supplied in boxes of 200 with a Torx® compatible bit. The larger diameter and length suit demanding interior carpentry, such as fixing timber to masonry, joining thicker sections and securing heavier fittings.
The patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting and prevents jacking or spinning during installation, giving improved pull-out resistance and a firmer fix. Recessed ribs aid countersinking and reduce surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk neck adds holding power. A sharp point gives fast bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel.
Screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to outlast standard zinc coatings by up to six times and salt spray tested to 400 hours. Intended for interior use.
