ForgeFast wood screws measuring 5.0 x 90mm, supplied in a box of 100. Suitable for interior use, the larger diameter and length are suited to thicker timber assemblies such as structural beams and substantial timber constructions.

The screws have a universally accepted Pozi-compatible drive with six underhead lobes for improved countersinking and reduced surface dust, plus a reinforced countersunk neck for better holding power. An anti-friction thread reduces splitting, jacking and spinning, while the serrated thread improves pull-out resistance and lowers insertion torque. A double cutting point speeds up drilling, reduces dust clogging, and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, and salt spray tested to 400 hours.
