ForgeFast wood screws, 5.0 x 80mm, supplied in a box of 100 with a Torx® compatible bit. The extended length and 5mm diameter suit demanding structural interior work, such as fixing timber through insulation to masonry, joining substantial timber sections and forming heavy-duty structural connections.

A Torx® compatible drive gives reliable torque transfer with minimal cam-out. The patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting and prevents jacking and spinning of joined timber, improving pull-out resistance. Recessed ribs improve countersinking and reduce surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk neck aids holding power. A sharp point gives faster bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish salt spray tested to 400 hours, lasting up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings. Intended for interior use.
