ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw ZY 4.5 x 80mm Box 100 FFT4580Y

ForgeFast wood screws in 4.5 x 80mm, supplied in a box of 100 complete with a Torx® compatible bit. The larger diameter and length suit demanding structural applications, such as fixing timber through insulation into masonry or joining thick timber sections, with the 4.5mm diameter giving strong holding power along the full length.

A patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting and prevents jacking and spinning of joined timber, improving pull-out resistance and giving a firmer fix. Recessed ribs improve countersinking and reduce surface dust, while the reinforced countersunk neck adds holding power. A sharp point pierces 0.8mm steel for faster bite.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings and salt spray tested to 400 hours, suitable for interior use.
