ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw ZY 4.0 x 70mm Box 100 FFT470Y

ForgeFast wood screws measuring 4.0 x 70mm, supplied in a box of 100 with a Torx® compatible bit included. The extra length suits deep or heavy-duty interior applications, such as fixing timber to blockwork or joining thick timber sections, while the 4mm diameter maintains holding power without needing excessive driving force.

A patented drill and drive thread reduces splitting and prevents jacking or spinning of joined timber, giving increased pull-out resistance and a firmer fix. Recessed ribs improve countersinking and reduce surface dust, and a sharp point pierces 0.8mm steel for a fast bite.

The screws carry an Elementech 400 coating, an anti-corrosive, Cr6+-free finish said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc coatings, salt spray tested to 400 hours. They are intended for interior use.
