ForgeFix Multi-Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws with countersunk heads and a zinc-plated finish, supplied 5 x 100mm in a box of 100. Widely used across joinery, electrical, plumbing and DIY work, and suitable for PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials.

The countersunk head sinks flush with the substrate for a smooth finish, while the single thread design gives higher pull-out values and quicker insertion. The zinc plating guards against oxidation by forming a protective barrier, with the resulting zinc oxide layer helping to preserve the substrate's surface integrity.

The Pozidriv drive, identifiable by the 45-degree embossed line on the head, has four extra contact points compared with a Phillips head and lacks its rounded corners, reducing cam-out and allowing greater torque to be applied with suitable tooling.
