ForgeFix ForgeFast TORX® Compatible Elite Performance Wood Screw ZY 5.0 x 20mm Box 200 FFT520Y

ForgeFast wood screws sized 5.0 x 20mm, supplied in a box of 200 with a Torx® compatible bit. The larger diameter and shorter length suit fixing heavy-duty hardware and brackets into hardwoods, offering strong grip and shear resistance in thinner sections.

The Torx® compatible drive gives efficient torque transfer with reduced driver slippage. A patented drill and drive thread forms its own pilot hole, cutting the risk of splitting and preventing jacking between fixed components, while a sharp point aids fast bite and can pierce 0.8mm steel. Recessed ribs under the countersunk head improve countersinking with less surface dust, and the reinforced neck adds holding power.

An Elementech 400 coating gives anti-corrosive protection said to last up to six times longer than standard zinc finishes, is free of Cr6+, and has been salt spray tested to 400 hours. Suitable for interior use.
