About this product
The Makita DHR264 is a twin 18v LXT cordless SDS Plus rotary hammer drill, powered by two 18v batteries wired in series to drive a 36v motor. It offers three operating modes — rotation with hammering, hammering only, and rotation only — suiting drilling, chiselling and light demolition in concrete, masonry and steel.
A Quick Change chuck lets users switch between SDS Plus bits and straight shank accessories without changing tools. Maximum capacities are 26mm in concrete, 13mm in steel and 32mm in wood, with up to 4,800 blows per minute and 1,200rpm no-load speed. 40 chisel angle settings allow precise positioning.
Other features include an LED worklight with pre-glow and afterglow, a battery capacity indicator, and an ergonomic soft-grip handle. Supplied as a bare unit with MakPac case, side handle, depth stop and bit grease, but without batteries or charger.
