About this product
Dowsil 785+ is a one-part bacteria resistant silicone sealant in a Manhattan Grey finish, suited to contemporary bathroom and kitchen schemes with grey tiles, stone finishes or industrial-style sanitaryware. It comes in a 310ml cartridge designed to fit standard sealant guns.
The formula gives strong adhesion to most non-porous surfaces, including ceramics and porcelain, and is suitable for domestic and commercial sanitary fittings, kitchen sink units and clean rooms. It contains a fungicide to resist mould growth and also protects against bacteria including MRSA, E. coli and Salmonella.
Working time is 5-10 minutes, with a tack-free time of one hour, and it offers joint movement capability of ±20%. It conforms to ISO 22196:2007 and ISO 11600-F-20LM.
