About this product
Dowsil 785+ is a one-part bacteria resistant silicone sealant in a Jasmine finish, a warm neutral tone suited to cream, beige and ivory sanitaryware and tiles as a softer alternative to white. It gives strong adhesion to most non-porous surfaces, including ceramics and porcelain, making it suitable for domestic and commercial sanitary fittings, kitchen sink units and clean rooms.
The formula contains a fungicide to resist mould growth and protects against bacteria including MRSA, E. coli and Salmonella. It has a working time of 5-10 minutes, becoming tack-free within an hour, and offers joint movement capability of ±20%. It conforms to ISO 22196:2007 and ISO 11600-F-20LM, and is supplied in a 310ml cartridge sized for standard sealant guns.
