The Stabila LBM 1000 is a professional open-frame fibreglass tape measure aimed at surveyors, groundworkers and construction professionals needing accurate long-distance measurements. It has a robust, breakproof Y-frame and a kink-proof 13mm fibreglass tape, 30 metres long, meeting EC Class II accuracy standards. The tape's SPIKES coating improves slip resistance on smooth surfaces and when measuring over long distances, while the ergonomic soft-grip handle suits extended use and can be switched between right- and left-handed operation. Fastening options include a fold-out SPIKES hook with integrated nail eyelet and a large, unbreakable plastic ring with nail notch. The plastic ring design aids measurement: add 2cm between the zero point and nail notch, or 5cm between the zero point and the start of the ring. The zero point sits at the beginning of the hinge fitting.
