The Bahco 9627-10-460 is a 10mm long combination auger bit suited to general woodworking and construction, including dowel work and clearance holes for medium-sized screws and bolts. Its 460mm overall length (385mm working length) provides extended reach for drilling through thick beams, wall studs and similar deep-reach jobs where standard bits fall short.
Made from hardened tool steel with a rust-resistant lacquer finish, the bit has spirals with the Levin pattern for effective chip removal and smooth cutting. The threaded tip moderates self-feed in power drills while still giving sufficient feed for use in a hand brace, allowing quick, precise cutting across all types of wood.
