This Irwin auger drill bit is designed for general wood boring, with a 13mm diameter and 191mm overall length (114mm working length). It suits general construction tasks and specialist applications where precise hole sizing is needed for certain fasteners and fittings.
A single spur cutting edge scribes the circumference of the hole for a smoother finish, while the solid centre adds rigidity for accurate boring. The self-feeding screw point speeds up boring in both soft and hard woods.
