About this product
The Faithfull V-Straight Parting Carving Chisel is designed for cutting precise 'V' grooves, outlining letterwork and corner finishing. It suits woodcarvers working on decorative carving, lettering and detailed finishing tasks, producing clean grooves and sharp lines in softwoods and hardwoods. The chisel has a fully polished blade with a deep-seated tang and a metal ferrule to protect the wooden handle during use. The handle is made from FSC® 100% Certified Wood sourced from well-managed forests. Overall length is 220mm, with a blade width of 9.5mm (3/8in). As with other woodcarving chisels, final sharpening is required before first use to achieve optimal cutting performance.
