About this product
The Dormer P801 is a solid carbide rotary burr in a cylinder shape without an end cut, designed for surface machining across a wide range of materials including steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. Its double cut geometry improves control and metal removal rate while breaking swarf into manageable pieces, giving smooth finishes with reduced vibration. The burr has a toughened, hardened steel shank for rigidity and strength, helping to prevent bending and extend tool life, with special brazing for a strong bond between carbide tip and shank. It is left uncoated (bright). Specification: diameter 9.6mm, shank diameter 6mm, working length 19mm, overall length 64mm.
