About this product
The Dormer P805 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball nosed cylinder shape, used for precision machining tasks such as contouring and circular arcs. It suits steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It has a double cut (skip flute) geometry, giving good material removal, reduced vibration and a smoother finish, with less risk of swarf congestion and manageable swarf breakage. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity and strength, resisting bending and improving tool life, while the bright finish improves wear resistance. Diameter: 8mm. Shank diameter: 6mm. Working length: 19mm. Overall length: 64mm.
