About this product
The Dormer P807 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball-shaped (D shape) head, finished bright and uncoated. It uses a double cut (DC) flute geometry with close-spaced edges, suited to intricate carving, metal engraving, welding preparation and general surface refinement, giving clean finishes and fine detail. Its skip-flute ball nose design adds strength at the centre, reduces swarf congestion and improves cutting closer to the tip, giving better control, higher metal removal and manageable swarf breakage. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity and resists bending and vibration for improved tool life. Suitable for steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. Diameter 6.3mm, shank diameter 3mm, working length 5mm, overall length 38mm.
