About this product
The Dormer P803 is a solid carbide rotary burr in a cylinder shape with an end cut, using a double-cut flute geometry. It suits general machining tasks, including flat surfaces and right-angled corners, on materials such as steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and its alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. The burr has a toughened, hardened steel shank for rigidity and strength, helping to reduce bending and vibration and support tool life. The double-cut design aids control, increases metal removal rate and helps break swarf into manageable pieces. The bright (uncoated) finish is ground to h6 on the carbide and h7 on the steel. Specification: diameter cut 6.3mm, shank diameter 3mm, working length 12.7mm, overall length 45mm.
