About this product
The Dormer P801 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a cylindrical shape and no end cut, designed for precision surface machining and general material removal. It suits a wide range of materials, including steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It uses a double cut geometry, giving good control, an increased metal removal rate and swarf that breaks into manageable pieces. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity and strength, reducing vibration and bending for consistent tool life, while special brazing gives strong bonding between the carbide tip and shank. Specification: 6mm cutting diameter, 6mm shank diameter, 18mm working length, 50mm overall length, uncoated (bright) finish.
