About this product
The CorePlus DTDM16 is a 16mm diamond drill bit for making clean, fast holes in porcelain and ceramic tiles. It suits waste pipe holes, electrical conduit penetrations, and medium to large fixture installations as part of a tiling project.
The bit uses premium-grade, braze-bonded diamonds set by vacuum brazing, which helps the diamonds stay bonded for a long working life and gives consistent cutting performance on hard materials. It starts easily without needing a drill guide, and only needs minimal water cooling rather than a continuous feed.
Core waste material auto-ejects, allowing continuous drilling without stopping to clear debris. A Tri-Flat shank provides a secure grip and good performance in both cordless and corded drills.
