About this product
A step drill bit designed for drilling and enlarging holes in sheet metal up to 3mm thick, covering a 6mm–12mm diameter range. It suits construction steel, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics and thin-walled materials, making it useful for cable entries, fixing points and precision holes in lighter gauge materials.
The bit has a 1/4" hex shank for quick changes, with optimised geometry that helps it penetrate material faster and start cleanly without walking. Specially ground shoulder cutters give accurate, clean circular holes, while a titanium coating improves wear and corrosion resistance for a longer service life compared with black oxide finishes.
