About this product

A pack of 10 high-speed steel drill bits designed for drilling steel, both alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm, and also effective in wood and plastic. The split point tip prevents the bit from wandering or slipping on contact, allowing accurate, burr-free holes, which suits sheet or thin materials as well as general metalwork. The bits have a tapered web construction intended to reduce breakage, with a gold ferrous oxide coating to help prevent overheating. Three flat sides on the shank help stop slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank aid identification. Precision-ground flutes assist chip removal. Diameter is 4.8mm, with a working length of 46mm and an overall length of 88mm.
