About this product
The DEWALT Extreme Flatwood Drill Bit is designed for fast, accurate drilling in hardwood and softwood, as well as chipboard and other man-made materials. It is suitable for tasks such as door locks, mortising, and electrical or plumbing work, and can withstand accidental contact with nails buried in timber. It features an extra-thick, heavy-duty steel shank that has been heat treated along its full length for durability against bending and breaking. Chamfered outer cutting spurs give clean, fast drilling and extended life, while the precision-ground central point improves material penetration and drilling speed. The 1/4" hex fitting prevents slipping in drill chucks, and a hang hole allows for storage or wire pulling. Diameter: 18mm. Length: 152mm.
