The Dormer A002 is a jobber drill bit made from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate, durable drilling across a range of materials. The pointed web and fluted tip allow efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web design adds strength and rigidity and aids chip evacuation. The TiN coating reduces friction and resists flank and crater wear, helping maintain performance at higher cutting speeds and extending tool life. It has a 118° point angle to DIN 338, with visible tool-in-situ marking for easy identification. This 8.00mm diameter bit has a working length of 75mm and overall length of 117mm, supplied singly in a pouch pack.
