About this product
These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm, and are also effective in wood and plastic. They suit drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. The split pilot point design stops the bit walking or slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning even on curved surfaces. Three flat sides help eliminate slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head, 4.0mm diameter, 43mm working length, 75mm overall length, supplied as a pack of two.
