About this product
This DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bit is designed for portable or stationary drilling of alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 900N/mm. It is also effective in wood and plastic, and suits drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A tapered web with a gold ferrous oxide coating helps reduce breakage and overheating for longer bit life. The patented split pilot point/no-walk tip eliminates slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning even on curved surfaces. Three flat sides prevent slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head, 6.0mm diameter, 57mm working length, 93mm overall length, supplied as a single bit.
