About this product
This DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bit is designed for portable or stationary drilling of alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 900N/mm, and is also effective in wood and plastic. It is particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A strong central core with tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. The split pilot point/no-walk tip design eliminates slipping when starting on curved or flat surfaces, and three flat sides on the shank stop it slipping in the chuck. Permanent size markings above the shank aid visibility. Specification: HSS head, 6.5mm diameter, 58mm working length, 101mm overall length, supplied as a single bit.
