About this product
This pack of 10 DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits is made from high-speed steel and designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, both alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. They're also effective in wood and plastic. The patented split point tip eliminates walking or slipping on contact, giving accurate, burr-free holes, and is particularly suited to sheet or thin materials. Each bit has three flat sides to prevent slipping in the chuck, permanent size markings above the shank for visibility, and a tapered web with a gold ferrous oxide coating to reduce breakage and overheating. Precision-ground flutes aid chip removal and reduce friction. Diameter is 6.5mm, with a working length of 58mm and an overall length of 101mm.
