This DEWALT Extreme Masonry Drill Bit is designed for drilling into masonry, brick, stone, tiles and light concrete, typically for anchors, plastic plugs, fixings or pipework clearance holes. It measures 7mm in diameter with an overall length of 100mm.
An optimum carbide grade and hardened steel body with core reinforcement improve durability, giving longer life and more holes per charge on a cordless drill than a standard masonry bit. The unique tip design aids efficient drilling with reduced walking for greater accuracy, while the optimised milled flute speeds up drilling. Copper brazing withstands high temperatures, and an anti-slip shank assists control during use.
