About this product
The Dormer A002 is an HSS jobber drill bit with a titanium nitride coating, supplied in a pouch pack of two. It is designed for creating precise, accurate holes and suits both hand-held and machine drilling. The pointed web and fluted tip design allows efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web improves strength, rigidity and feed. The flutes aid chip evacuation, and the optimised helix angle gives greater stiffness. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and reduces friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and extended tool life. The bright finish and 118° point angle suit ductile materials, with visible tool-in-situ marking for easy identification. Made to DIN 338. Tip diameter 2.50mm, working length 30mm, overall length 57mm.
