About this product
Dormer A002 jobber drill bits, supplied in a pouch of two, made from high-speed steel with a Titanium Nitride coating. The TiN coating reduces friction and resists flank and crater wear, allowing increased cutting speeds and extended tool life, while the bright body finish improves cutting performance on ductile materials. The bits feature a pointed web and fluted tip design for efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring. The web geometry improves strength, rigidity and feed, while the flutes assist chip evacuation. An optimised helix angle adds stiffness, and tool-in-situ markings aid identification. Tip diameter is 3.30mm, with a working length of 36mm and overall length of 65mm, suited to hand-held and machine drilling of metal, wood, plastic and similar materials.
