About this product
The Dormer A002 is a jobber drill bit made from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, supplied in a pack of two. The 5.00mm bit has an overall length of 86mm and a working length of 52mm, with a 118° point angle to DIN 338. The pointed web and fluted tip design allows efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web improves strength, rigidity and feed. The flutes aid chip evacuation, and tool in-situ markings make identification easier. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and reduces friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and extended tool life, while the bright, optimised-helix body improves performance on ductile materials. Suitable for hand-held or machine drilling across metal, wood, plastic and other materials.
