About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and reaching awkward or hard-to-access areas, capable of drilling up to ten times its diameter. It is suited to professional and industrial use, with a standard spiral flute design, a 118° point angle and steam tempering, built to BS328.
This version measures 12mm in tip diameter, with a 200mm working length and 250mm overall length. Because of its extra length, care is needed to avoid bending or breaking during use — it's recommended to let the drilling machine do the work rather than applying excessive pressure, and to progress through shorter lengths first where possible.
