About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving high hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for professional and industrial use. It suits tougher, higher-tensile materials where drilling generates more heat, including aerospace applications.
It features a 135° split point geometry (to NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3), which reduces walking and improves drilling accuracy, along with a standard right-hand spiral flute and bronze surface finish. It conforms to DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235 standards.
This 5.00mm diameter bit has an overall length of 86mm and a working length of 52mm.
