This is a 38mm flat drill bit from Faithfull, designed for boring large-diameter holes in timber, suitable for heavy-duty tasks such as pipe installations and larger cable runs. It has an overall length of 152mm and is impact rated for durability during intensive use with either mains or cordless drills.
The bit features a precision ground point and cutting surfaces with extended spurs for faster, cleaner cutting, working effectively with or against the grain. It has a 1/4in hexagonal non-slip shaft with a locking mechanism compatible with quick-release chucks and adaptors, and is made to DIN 3126 quality standards. A 300mm extension shank is available separately for deeper drilling applications.
