About this product
This Irwin step drill bit is designed for precise drilling in thin materials such as sheet metal, offering 10 hole sizes ranging from 5mm to 28.3mm (5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15.2, 18.6, 20.4, 22.5, 25.5 and 28.3mm), suited to medium and larger diameter holes. It is made from industrial grade M7 high-speed steel and features a single flute design for maximum control, producing accurate round holes. The fluted shank helps prevent the bit slipping in the chuck, while the self-centring point avoids walking on the material surface and removes the need for centre punching.
