The Roughneck Gorilla V-Series Claw Hammer is a 680g (24oz) curved claw hammer aimed at heavy-duty work such as framing, formwork and demolition, where extra striking power is needed. The head is made from drop-forged, hardened and tempered steel, while the shaft uses a V-Shock twin-beam girder design that acts as a damper to reduce shock and vibration, backed up by an air-cushioned grip for comfort during extended use.
Reduced weight in the shaft shifts the centre of gravity towards the head, giving improved balance and less effort in use despite the heavier head. A magnetic nail holder helps with starting nails in awkward spots, and a mini-claw is included for removing embedded nails. A lanyard hole at the base of the handle allows secure tethering when working at height.
