About this product
The Roughneck Gorilla V-Series Scutch Hammer is a double-ended masonry tool that accepts both scutch combs and chisels, suited to stone and masonry dressing work such as surface preparation and brick cleaning. It is made from drop-forged, hardened and tempered steel for durability. The shaft uses a V-Shock twin-beam girder design that acts as a damper, reducing shock and vibration transmitted to the hand and arm, further aided by an air-cushioned grip. Reduced weight in the shaft shifts the centre of gravity towards the head, improving balance and reducing operator effort. A lanyard hole at the base of the handle allows secure tethering when working at height. The head weighs 567g (20oz).
