About this product
This 150 x 50mm coarse-grade DMT diamond whetstone is designed for initial sharpening, repairing damaged edges and removing material quickly when reshaping worn or chipped blades. It carries a 325 grit (45 micron) rating, identified by its blue colour-coded circle.
Made from continuous monocrystalline diamond, the stone won't break, chip, crack, hollow or groove, and stays flat over its lifetime. It's suited to honing hard materials including carbide and steel, using water rather than oil for lubrication, avoiding mess or smell.
The whetstone has non-slip rubber feet and comes with a non-skid mat for added stability during use. The grit size is etched into the side for reference.
