About this product

This DMT 150 x 50mm Fine grade diamond whetstone has a 600 grit (25 micron) monocrystalline diamond surface, marked with a red colour-coded circle for easy identification. It suits routine maintenance sharpening and refining edges after coarser work, on knives, scissors, woodworking tools and general workshop equipment, and can hone all hard materials including carbide and high-carbon steels.

The stone is used with water rather than oil, avoiding mess or smell, and comes with non-slip rubber feet plus a supplied non-skid mat for secure positioning. The grit size is etched into the side of the stone. Construction is designed not to break, chip, crack or develop hollows or grooves like traditional whetstones.
