About this product
This DMT Diamond Sharp Whetstone is a 200 x 75mm bench stone in Coarse grade, giving 325 grit (45 micron), best suited to initial sharpening and reshaping damaged or very dull edges. The coarse grade removes material quickly, making it useful when tools need significant restoration or re-profiling rather than routine touch-ups.
It is made from monocrystalline diamond with a continuous surface, offering consistent, efficient cutting on all hard materials including carbide and steel. Non-slip rubber feet and a supplied non-skid mat keep the stone stable during use, and it is used with water rather than oil for a cleaner, mess-free process.
The grit size is etched into the side of the stone, with a blue dual-coloured identification circle marking it as Coarse grade for quick recognition.
