About this product
This 200mm double-sided diamond whetstone from DMT combines a red Fine face (600 grade, 25 micron) with a green Extra Fine face (1200 grade, 9 micron), suited to tradespeople and enthusiasts wanting refined edges on quality tools. The Extra Fine side suits quality knives, fine woodworking tools and tungsten carbide tooling, while the Fine side works well on woodworking tools, carbide tooling, router bits and 3D bits.
The stone is used with water rather than oil, giving clean, odour-free sharpening. Construction is rigid and lightweight, resistant to breaking, chipping, cracking, hollowing or grooving, and the diamond surface is designed to maintain consistent performance over time. Grit sides are identified by coloured markings set into the stone.
