About this product
This 200mm double-sided diamond whetstone from DMT combines a blue Coarse side (325 grade, 45 micron) with a red Fine side (600 grade, 25 micron), suiting general workshop and carpentry use. The Coarse side handles general carpentry tools, tin snips, wood flat bits, augers and garden edge tools, resetting edges and removing material efficiently. The Fine side refines woodworking tools, carbide tooling, router bits and 3D bits to a sharp finish.
The stone has a rigid, lightweight construction that will not break, chip, crack or hollow, and works on hard materials including carbide and steel. It is used with water rather than oil, avoiding mess and smell during sharpening.
