About this product
This Faithfull set combines two block planes for single-handed use on end grain and detailed finishing work, supplied together in a hinged wooden storage box. Both planes have fully adjustable mouths that can be opened wide for coarse material removal or narrowed for fine shavings on awkward grain. The No.60 1/2 has a 35mm cutter set at a low angle of 13 1/2°, making it effective on end grain and plastic laminates. The No.9 1/2 has a wider 42mm cutter set at 21°, suited to end grain and general-purpose finishing tasks such as trimming door edges, chamfering and fitting joinery.
